Perhaps the most encouraging part of this process is that respiratory events and complex breathing patterns are detected quickly respond to in an instant manner. No more gradual change for the weary! The beauty is in the algorithm as it works to identify your breathing patterns periodically. With the machine detecting a flow limitation in your sleep, pressure will change automatically in response to OSA and CSA events you may feel. Best of all, the lowest pressure will stay as it is until an event is detected thus requiring a higher pressure.

Smart-Flex

SmartFlex Relief is a unique relief function that not only reduces pressure but also has six different rounding options to be custom made to fit your needs as you transition from inhaling to exhaling. SmartFlex has the ability to lower your exhalation pressure by a pressure increment of 1cm H20 per level(topping out at 3cm H20), this will allow the user to breathe easier against their normal therapy pressure without feeling it being forced pressure. Thankfully with the large LCD screen that is provided, you can assess your therapy by analyzing the graph and make any necessary adjustments to make the SmartFlex work perfectly for your specifications. You'll begin and finish your sleep uninterrupted as the SmartFlex will monitor each breath thus lowering the pressure on a breath by breath basis while returning the settings back to normal pressure upon inhalation.

Auto Stop/ Auto On

Long gone are the days where you have to physically turn off the machine when it is no longer in use or turn on the machine prior to being used. The user now can begin and finish their CPAP therapy without the need of pushing a button. When the option is enabled, simply place the mask against your face and breathe into the mask and BAM you are now starting your sleep therapy!! Feel like you've completed your sleep therapy? Simply remove your mask upon waking up and the device will power off instantly. DeVilbiss knows that not everybody will be keen to this innovation feature so you can disable this feature and go with the tried and true option of just turning on the machine to power it or turn off the machine when you're done using it.

Smart Code

Smart Code is a patented technology that provides compressed CPAP data in the form of encryption code that can be easily accessed on the CPAP device display. Your summary data is available when the code becomes decrypted which enables you to see data information central apnea, and flow limitation. Smart Code is meant to help keep users compliant by providing a cumulative report.
